I was buzzing around, getting ready for the 50th Annual Moab Jeep Safari, drove off into the sunset, and assumed that one of our XJ Cherokee members would rise to your question! Shows what I know... To answer your WOT sensor concern, the only 2.5L that uses the adjustable WOT sensor is the Model 81 (YJ Wrangler). The obvious question is why the 2.5L TBI engine in your Comanche or an XJ Cherokee does not require a WOT sensor! The factory workshop manual only provides a WOT sensor adjustment procedure for the 2.5L TBI Model 81. I really like your Comanche! How does it perform with the 2.5L TBI engine?
