Sounds like you have ignition problems. Jeeps like to crossfire between spark plug wiring, especially when they rub against each other. I would recommend replacing your spark plugs with xp985 and Magnacore wires. However before you do that, open your distributor and see if your rotor have some movement. If it does, buy new distributor. Re-tighten and clean your ground wires on the firewall and the engine (both sides). If you do not want to buy new wires, buy rubber hoses, splice them and use them as wire jackets. See if that makes the difference.
