  1.  HI Moses ,

How are you? just want to ask you regarding the throttle position sensor of my jeep zj 4.0 as i converted  my jeep to carb. im using the holly 390cfm  4 barrel it run well, but sometimes  the trans will not  kickdown to 1ST gear  sometimes it does . question... is  is The TPS  which is disconeected  affects the kickdown? as im planning to install a tps made by holley.  Also, if your bands are loose what's going to happen? Thanks for your time . have a nice weekend.

In  My Jeep zj 1994 4.0L engine AWD trans, do i need to re gear if i will use a 30- 31 tires and what gear and where to buy this gears. can i ask you regarding the TPS in the ZJ,does it affect  kickdown or its the TCM  that control this shifting?  sometimes   my experience  is kickdown  only up to 2nd gear and sometimes it goes to 1st gear, is it the adjustment of the kickdown cable ? is it  lose or is it to tight?  also  you advice me before regarding the  anti  return valve in the trans  i cannot  locate it, also where i can buy this valve how do i check if its ok?

, please advice me  With all my Thanks.

    Cheers:,

Thank you... yes  a new topic, my engine valves are  ok  so with the pistons and i see theres no oil  in the top and not damage , i talk to my mechanic about the installation of the cams , he told me that what he did the rocker arm is to tight and the lifter maybe was not collapse  , and now  i told him  you procedures, that what we are going to do. ill buy another set with that part number with the lifter and will install again following your instruction.  still i will use comp cams.i know you are not advertising, but  it serve you well, Thank you Very much.

  4. HI! Moses,

Mario Again, May i know please the comp part number as im confuse as i look to summit and ebay im not sure . is it CL 68 200-4  252H  grind? As my cam was not serviceable any more as the mechanic installed the wrong way so ill buy another one, i took about a year of service then my jeep misfire no power. when we open the engine  bent pushrod  the lobe of the cam was not an egg shape any more the lifter  l hole in the center, but its only 2 lifters and 1 lobe and cams cannot be repaired your right maybe he installed the lifter full of oil. this is a lesson i learned and will cost me money. i know your recommending a comp cam. im afraid it will happen again , but this time will follow all instruction from you. how about if i use crower cam any advice please. Thank you again.

  11. Hi! Moses...Mario from the philippines, I'm the one who converted the 1994 Jeep grand cherokee 4.0 EFI to carburetor (weber 32/36) the car runs ok, only i have this problem that i dont have rpm indication in my dash, also i have ABS warning light that illuminate always.

When i start the car all indication in the dash is off no check engine and no abs illumination, but i dont have a voltmeter indication, after about 3 minutes or sometime 6, i have check engine light and RPM start to indicate and also ABS start to illuminate as long the car is running , it runs ok but i dont have rpm and ABS light illuminate.  I fit my car an external voltage regulator ERCK which is for dodge and chrysler and jeep. I have always had a voltmeter reading, and my battery is charging. Do you have any advice so that i have an RPM indication in my dash?

Regards, your friend from the Philippines,
