[What shop tips would you like to share?]

Made my own penetrant solution. Bought a little oiler can with a thumb trigger, it seals pretty good so air cant get in easily to evaporate my solution. Half acetone half atf fluid, give it a good shake before you use it and it works pretty good so far. Really seems to get sucked in deep into the threads.

[Electrical Connections: Whether to Use Dielectric Grease or Not]

Did my spark plug connectors and distributor on my 97 Volvo and its all good. Still unsure of the connectors associated with trailers or other multi-pin configurations as I have read that the grease could allow electrical transfer between pins, which in my limited experience sounds like a potential short, witch would suck.

Hey guys. I had to replace the leafs. I had stretched the front "eye" of the leaf enough that it let that side of the axle be further back than the other side. The damage was actually not that easy to see. Had to get under there and really look closely and compare to the undamaged side. Love my new leafs, and my xj was starting to sag anyways.

Passenger side rear wheel is almost touching the rear of the wheel well. The center pin in the leafs is still there and on the axle. Axle does not seem bent. Could the front eye of the leaf have been stretched and caused more length on the leaf that has correlated into the wheel moving like that?
