  1. I have some questions. I am going to register the 1973 I-H 1210 2WD pickup truck in Norway. I have the certificate of title. I need all the data about the vehicle.  In Norway we name it  a "wagoncard".  Don`t know what you call it in U.S. but in contains all dimensions, weight, engine power etc. Could you help me with this information?  My vin is 1H3H2C00CHB10502.

  2. Took my half shafts out so i could send brake drums to turn. I think it looked like the wheel bearings are lubed my the diff oil. Is this right? Shouldn`t be packed with greese?  Another question is what about torgue ? I will use the old bearings . They are in great cond. Need only new inner seal. Does someone know part numbers of these seals. Need also the outer pinion seal nearest the propeller shaft. Thankful for some advices.

  3. Hi Moses. Thanks a lot of your description. I have had the same thoughts about the pins. Read somewhere that a guy got trouble because the pins were too tight. I have taken the axle off the car and will get some help from an old skilled bus mechanic at work in our workshop. I also have outfit to hone the bushing after fitting. Bought two sets to be on the safe side. Have to be extreme careful when pulling in and out to not damage the surrounding iron. I`ll try.

  4. Looked over the papers for my car that i imported from Belgium. The car was bought at an auction i us in 2015.  In the papers it is a fault in the vin code. the wrong vin is  1H3H2C0CHB10502  the right is  1H3H2C00CHB10502 . The right vin have i checked many places  , but since it has not 17 digits i can`t track it. Us license plate number is 28-3973 state maybe az. Someone that could help me?

  5. Hi! moses! I found the endlink bushings in ih america shop. The sway bar bushings i will find on ebay. I took out the pyramid valve and restored it today. Early ovner has disconnected it and  the holes for the connections were open. The valve was full of dead insectts. I cleaned it and got some new nitrile o-rings  and made a new seal for the total cost us$ 15. The plastic hoses was defected , so i will buy some new meters of it.  The fuel pump has to be changed. It has been disconnected and the pipes is open. An electric is mounted , but i like to have it the way it was from Illnois. Maybe i am crazy , but i like it original.

    Regards Thomas

  6. Hi Moses!  I just come home from a snowboard holiday in Whistler. I changed wheels and tires today.  I like the pick up.  It is a lot of job since it is almost unrestored except the paint. I have to change all brake hoses bushings etc. Engine runs very nice , but carburator need some new parts. I have ordered them. Do yopy know what the bushings in the end of the front sway bar is called and where to get them moses?   It is much small things to do , but i like this pick up. A friend of mine have three fire trucks mod 1973/74 and he will sell be some parts. He has a gas tank i can use and a km. instrument +++.  I bought the fuel filler hose for my left gas tank and will mount it tomorrow.. My pyramid valve is disconnected  also the fuel pump  and an electric pump has been mounted. All this un-original shit will soon be gone.
