    the truck was working one day and then tried to start it and it turned over but would not start up so we belived the timing was off changed the silinoid stater was checked autozone said it passed coil was changed distributor cap was changed when i move the cranck shaft its kinda hard to turn then its kind of easier to turn then goes back to kinda hard to turn getting spark and getting gas but battery still drains kinda quick even when on a charger timing chain not broke checked that im tryin to go for the easy stuff first before plunging into replacing the timing chain i have got the bottom tdc but not the top so as it was getting cranked i moved the distributor to see if i could get it to fire that way or even any closer and still nothing had the distributor tested as well ignition mod was changed all spark plug wires are on fire order i double checked that twice

    what else could it be besides timing chain and would trying to turn it over would it drain the battery really quick

    cant drive it could it be under compression or a bent valve when it turns over and dont fire it start to turn good then boggs down like really hard then turns good then boggs down again

Battery goes dead quickly. Changed coil, ignition module, distributor cap, should be on top dead center. Had starter checked is good. Getting gas can smell it. What else could i check?     ok and ford dealer ship said something it sounds like the pump inside the transmission but i would rather try the easyier steps before going for the bigger step

    it has 300,000 miles and transmission fluid change not sure it in gages i can feel that but the whiping noise at a stop light is what gots me stumped

    it made a whiping like noise at a light but still drove just fine but soon as we parked it thats when we had the problems

    93 yea every thing is at the fluid level it is the e40d

    truck starts went in gear just fine when came back from new mexico when got back to wyoming and almost to my house and parked when getting ready to move it again hard to get in gear but went in to gear but would not move in drive or reverse turn off truck and tried it again moved a foot then would not move reverse or drive tried again and the third time didnt move not even drive or reverseb need help trying to figure this out
